The need for sound reflection in performance halls, music practice rooms and auditoriums is an old and accepted concept. Without some sound reflection, these halls and rooms would sound dull and flat.

There is also the need to “tune” rooms by adjusting the sound-reflective surfaces to optimize their performance.

Golterman and Sabo’s ceiling sound reflectors address both of these needs.

Our ceiling reflectors are hard enough to reflect sound, and allow for installations at any angle and height. You can shape your ceiling to design ideal sound reflection.

Installed below the actual ceiling, our reflectors redirect sound to the audience before being lost or reflected off the higher ceiling. By installing sound absorbent matting on the back of our reflectors, they will absorb sounds that reflect from above.

We offer two shapes: radial and flat. Our reflectors also come in two sound-absorption types: standard -Type CR, low-frequency absorber - and Type CRA.

Core
CR: Glass fiber mat with fire retardant resin,
N.R.C. =.20
CRA: Add fiberglass backing, N.R.C. =.35
CRL: Add resin hardener,
N.R.C. =.05
